ITT: The first video game you remember playing
Pic related, I was 3.
My city's airport had a kiosk in the kids' play area set up with N64s, and this game was on all of them.
Only thing I remember is being confused by the controller and never leaving the castle grounds.

Got this, an original Game Boy and a few other games for it from a pawn shop when I was a kid.

One the one hand, it's not like you can blindly follow "talent" and hope it leads you to good games. Like, if you believe Hideo Kojima is the best ever and just start buying everything he produces you probably aren't going to be very happy at the end of it.
On the same hand, it's not like competition is all good either. Sometimes it just leads to a lot of "me too" games where everyone just copies each other in a desperate bid to the top. It's not like anyone LIKES the Kinect or the Playstation Move after Sony and Microsoft scrambled to match the Wii.
Personally I think you need both. Someone talented enough to not just make a me too game but with enough competition that they can't just do whatever they want and actually have to adapt to the market.
This is the biggest pile of shit I have ever played

>The healing and AI system is so pants on retarded that the game is encouraging you for playing the game for you.
Not to mention that almost every fucking battle requires you to use the same fucking strategy.You switch to ravage so you can build up stagger meter than you buff or debuff and wail on the fucking enemy until it dies,if an enemy is about to do a powerful attack you switch all characters sentinel to tank the attack.There you go you that's the entirety of FF 13 strategy right there.It's funny how they tried to balance the game around one character by giving bosses the doom spell to artificially make the game harder,it discourages you from using an alternative tactics and it's also a bullshit way to make bosses harder.
All in all this is one of the worst RPGs I have ever played the paradigms could of been interesting,but it was wasted on this games garbage ass combat system

Yeah, gameplay was shit. Characters were awful and even the locations were bland and boring. It had a very sterile feel, like no love it care went into it. I found the XV demo to be exactly the same.

Same here. Blueberry summonings are a bit inconsisten though, sometimes I get three in a row, some others I get nothing in ten minutes. Still much better than in previous souls games though.
Haven't found the grapeknight covenant yet, they look like fun

Is there any sort of fix for this? I just want to fight bosses some more and help people but it just crashes every time. I cant even invade because the same thing happens.

assumptiousery assuming of you, but horribly off. I strictly play sunbro and every time I am summoned for a boss fight the host already has plenty of phantoms to beat it. Yet he still summons more.

unless you're willing to manually place .dll files in all steam directories of games you want to use it with (and still no guarantee that it works afterwards), get an xbox 360 controller. Everything else requires work (installing non-manufacturer supplied third party software and so on) to get them to function.

I don't understand what the big deal is, Hayder played Solid Snake and Kiefer played "Big Boss", just like someone else played Liquid Snake. Do you really think they got Kiefer for less money than what Hayder wanted?
Hayter is pretty good in the first 4 games but in peacewalker he sounds like hes phoning it in. maybe Old Snake did a number on him or something, idk. Chief Kief was good in phantom pain when they felt like it was worth the cost to get him to speak, and was kind of shitty in ground zeroes.
What the fuck do I play on this thing? I have never hacked a system before and had nothing to play. Where are the games?
