I mean, I am just terrible at this series (love it though) and even I didn't have a problem.
Even after the second gargoyle comes out, keep foucussing on the first one.
You can't block the fire so don't try. Don't get stuck between them.

Is the difficulty in Dark Souls just a meme?
I don't get it, every single area is the same. Summon some guys, kill everything, and beat the boss. The only fight that is hard is the first one because you can't summon, after that the game is an absolute joke.
Everytime I read these posts about how people can't beat a boss I just laugh, how can you guys suck this bad? This game is honestly impossible to lose at, if you have multiple people hitting an enemy at once then they just get stun locked until they die half the time. Either that or they are so big that 2-3 guys wailing on them after the miss BIG SLOW ATTACK TM kills them so fast.

You can mash attacks and stunlock them, so it isn't nearly as bad as DaS2. I don't think anything will ever be as bad as the fucking hammer knights at Dragon Shrine, with their fucking 20 hit combos.

Devil May Cry's writing was never good and was the had less substance then a underworld movie plot wise.
Yet DMC somehow managed to make that shit look like classic literature with its style and direction.
Gameplay wise it was alright, not nearly as good as it should have been but it was "ok"
