Why haven't htey made a brutally hard MMO yet? People clearly love games like dark souls that provide a good challenge, and people who play MMOs that have been dumbed down wants the company to return to the harder game, see vanilla WoW and old school runescape

Seeing all these Dark Souls threads has made me want to start playing them. Should I start with the first?
Anyone care to give a new player a few pointers?
You should start as early in the series as you have the means. If you have a PS3 then start with DeS, if not then start with DaS.
My only tip is don't let the reputation for difficulty fool you, if the game seems really hard you're being one-shot by enemies then you're probably going the wrong way. There's lots of possible sequence breaking, so just explore until you find a way that you can progress. The game doesn't hold your hand, so make an effort to understand things yourself.

Holy SHIT Dark Souls 3 is a letdown. I literally just beat Yhorm while naked with a knife. The combat is SO SLOW compared to Bloodborne.
This must be why PC and Xbone users are having a harder time beating it. PS4 gamers have already mastered these games by beating the best one, which is Bloodborne.
