I personally think Doom is the exception cause its the type of game that works well with multiplayer if done right.

Textures are kinda shitty, Zero looks far better.

the 2D backgrounds look kind of shitty in screenshots but I've played through it 5 times on PC and I don't notice them while playing, the overall feel is really good.
I would not bother with the GCN release anymore.
Also don't believe anyone who says the new control scheme is better.
I used it for one playthrough just because it was a CQC invisible enemy run and I didn't want to strain my hand, but it's really garbage.

This is the worst designed boss fight i have ever played in any game. The lunge it does in it's second phase is LITERALLY impossible to avoid. I'm not over exaggerating. The camera gets fucked up and you can't even see where you are. The person who made that second lunge should be fucking shot. I'm droppin this soon, literally unplayable. gg fromsoft
