Clear Smash - Hammer technique, X FP, removes positive status effect on struck target if optimally executed.
Trial Stomp - Jump Technique, X FP, extends the duration of all negative status effects on the target to full/by 3 more turns if optimally executed, to a maximum of 10
Stance Switch - Allows Mario and his partner to swap their position on the field after one has acted, letting the second actor take the front rank.
Feelin' Frisky! - The duration of all status effects on Mario is doubled, to a maximum of 10.

P-Winger - X FP, Mario levitates off ground and thus gains immunity to certain attacks. The effect is undone when damaged.
Moon Boots - X FP, Mario stands on the ceiling and thus gains immunity to certain attacks. The effect is undone when damaged
If Mario comes under the effect of both Moon Boots and P Winger, he will hover high up near the roof, which renders him immune to both regular jumping attacks and quakes. Only very direct projectile or wave/blast attacks can strike Mario.
