Hello fellow /v/ friends! How are you guys enjoying Fallout 4? I for one am having an absolute blast with it! It was easily the greatest game released last year no questions asked. All those review sites that gave it to other games are damn fools.

What's the worst weapon design you've seen in a video game? Something that was just unnecessarily ugly, tacked on, or under performing to the point of being useless.
Personal vote's for pic related.

>Mag fed, from a belt design, which should have been the final "magazine" option
>Massive and heavy compared to other options
>very lacking damage in full auto (more of a game flaw, but still)
>ONLY weapon for the 5.56 round
>damage comparable to combat rifles
>Miniguns with perks like explosive, two shot, plasma, etc. outclass in DPS by miles
>no bayonet, or undermount ripper
>no unique version for new iconic gun
>Made for "power armor large hands", could have been a belt fed like the M240B, M-60, or even M249
and I guess my own personal gripe.

none of them have any real flavor. it's definitely a more streamlined game than most of the grand strategy out there for fantasy, but I just can't find a race that i like (unlike dominions).

Mergo's soggy nurse was fucking awesome, but then Gehrman absolutely sucked? What the fuck was that about? He wasn't even hard, at least the moon presence was a bit tougher but that was still ultimately pretty disappointing.

Gherman was meh because you were probably overleveled if you completed near 100% of the other content (especially DLC) before attempting him since he's the vanilla boss.
Moon Presence is probably in the top 5, but the real "hardest" boss is probably Orphan of Kos

I never played Halo or CoD but knowing how it feels almost exactly like Unreal Tournament, I find this complaint hard to believe. Unless CoD/Halo are like UT, in which case they should be good games.
