How satanic/gothic is Diablo 3/3.5?
Does the story hold up or is it "The answers lie within" Starcraft 2 tier?
What I liked most about Diablo was how satanic it was in the Christian sense and iconography.
Diablo 2 lost some of that, the desert was nice but not gothic and the jungle was just bullshit.
Fighting andariel in the cemetery was one of the best vidya game moments for me with all the zombies coming at you.
Environments for each act:
1: small towns and farms, caves, forests, crypts, ancient ruins, dungeons
2: desert, outposts, sewers, ancient boneyards, arabic castle, arcane dungeons, caves
3: barracks, forward barracks/castle walls, frozen wasteland, dungeons, collapsing/on fire bridge outpost, demonic caves, demonic spires, pretty much hell. Also when you get to Adventure mode you can explore the abandoned barbarian homeland
4: heaven. basically a lot of really pretty stuff with incredible vistas. Slowly becomes more and more corrupted as you get further
5. Gothic town, corpses everywhere, sections on fire, marshes, ancient ruins, ancient arcane floating arcane battlefields, other dimensions, death's realm.
Act 5 is probably the closest to what you want, but the "descending deeper and deeper into a hellish nightmare" feeling is probably never coming back.

Why did they make Dark Souls so easy? Why is Bloodborne more challenging? I beat DS3 in 20 hours but it took 40 for Bloodborne. Better level designs and more challenging gameplay.
Where did FromSoft go wrong? Was it because they were trying to appeal to casuals? Man,I still play Bloodborne almost everyday and I haven't touched Dark Souls in over a week.

The worst part is how everyone just tries to replicate Uncharted on their own, thus driving this industry to another age of movie games.

This is one of the most overhyped games I've ever played.
The input is delayed, the controls are lousy, the movement is clunky, and on top of that the entire game panders to console users as a whole with menus, gameplay choices and control setups.
The worst part is that playing this game on a controller is fucking UNBEARABLE, so what is even the point of lower the entire games standards for it if it's going to be shit either way. For you Polish cocksuckers with controllers, enlighten me for a moment. Plug it in right now and try to navigate a menu, then compare it to KB+M. Explain to me how ANYONE that is a part of the casual audience that they want to appeal to would be patient enough for that. It takes nearly 3 times the amount of time to do simple tasks. They lower their standards to make a game that no one will appreciate. Fuck PC user though, not enough big bucks there, right? Let's just throw our original fans under the bus.

You need to keep in mind that as the sauce reduces, the saltiness becomes more pronounced. Protip: throw in a potatoe cut in half if you accidentally over salt, as it will absorb some. Then throw the potatoe away after it gets to the correct salinity.

I do agree, though TW2 was a LOT bigger offender than TW3, which kinda took couple steps backwards. But after the giant leap to shit #2 did, it's still far from the glory of the original Witcher.

So I tried playing him just a bit ago because nobody felt like playing a tank - do you have to press some sort of button to get charge to actually pin someone? I hit a McCree dead on with it twice and he just went flying off into the air instead of getting pinned.
Needless to say we did not win.
