Why do people keep begging for PC ports of games if they can't even outsell the fucking vita audience with 12 times the install base?

For those unaware, I had /v/ decide my party in my playthrough of the FF1 GBA remake.
After the party was revealed to be pretty crap, I decided to do a LP of sorts to see if it was possible for me to finish.

So far, I've liked everything that they've done with KOF XIV and I really hope it succeeds. I remember thinking of KoF as the, "Poor Man's Street Fighter" before I got into the games and experienced them for myself and realizing that it has its own offerings and flavor that's pretty unique. I hope people who were like me find this game and get into the rest of the series as a result.
I just think this a solid game that's just a breath of fresh air for KoF, though I am worried about how critics might receive it, not having stellar graphics is a pretty much an instant turn-off for a lot of people.
Is kof 13 a good starting point?

Picked up Golgo 13 (the Secret Episode) and holy hell is it fun. Hard though, still trying to get past this bullet hell helicopter route.
