You don't have to go to certain locations to find certain pokemon. There's a timer on how long the game is running, a certain a measurement system on how far you travel, and how many of the same everyday pokemon you caught that specific day. When you meet all the of those requirements, the game will throw an undiscovered pokemon your way to keep things fresh and make you feel as though you're making progress. I enjoy this game as much as the next guy, but this game isin't all that in depth as people (Especially the creeators) make it out to be, so please, I'd appreciate it if you guys would stop acting like it is.

So anyways I've been emulating Pokemon Crystal for a while now since I was too poor as a kid to play it, and it's really fucking great, but I've beaten the Elite Four twice already and I still don't know what my Rival's name is. Even at the beginning of the game he introduces himself as ??? and when I tell Officer Jenny that he only told me his name was ??? she obviously didn't do any detective work since I still don't know his name.
What's the Rival's name? Did I miss an event in the game? I can rematch him in the Dragon Den but he still won't tell me his fucking name.

My best advice would be to make it so it clearly stands out from the rest. Try to not make a generic "go to the nations of fire, water, wind, and earth and get the crystals" thingy. Try to not make the battle system too similar to Final Fantasy with your generic Blizzard and Fira spells, etc. Be creative.
Every memorable j-rpg has been made NOT using rpg maker or game maker, so consider that, faggot.

Keef because he wasn't ass blasted beyond the limits of what a normal sane human male should be
Kiefer handled it fine but only because it was just another job to him. The role meant a lot to Hayter, and while he did bring it up way too often and far too passive-aggressively, he has a right to be mad with the way Konami handed it. It really didn't make any sense.
But Hayter not doing the voice of Snake is just one of the many things contributing to MGSV barely being a Metal Gear game. The game itself has more and bigger problems than its lead voice actor.
