Z blocks are multi-functional and allow you to fill either 1 or 2 block gaps. The square block consistently fucks things up when you get late in the game cause they don't fit well anywhere.

/v/ should I skip dark souls 2? Or is it worth playing for the lore. I don't want to be lost in dark souls 3
Dark Souls 3 is entirely made up of references to the 2 earlier games. It has so little story of its own that you really should play the others first.
There's not many lore callbacks in 3. So if all you care about is the lore you can skip it. Still a good game though. Way more build variety than 3.Can't wait for all my You's telling me why DaS 2 is shit though.

I've never played a CRPG before. Where should I start with this genre?
I was thinking Wasteland 2 or Fallout 1&2 but I don't really think I want that sort of atmosphere.
