I'm slightly confused about this statement, What exactly is growing up with a console generation? I mean from my childhood to the end of highschool I must have seen like 4 generations pass, if not 5. Most generation were around 5 years tops back then so it's hard to justify which one I belong to.

There's a weird graphical setting called "Resolution Scale". Lowering it from 100% to 70% increase performance magically. I'm having 60+ now.

it runs good, just like the lightning port. The only issue is that TIdus face looks like shit.
Best version. Everything the PS4 version has, plus in-game boosters and 4k support. ReShade also works just fine.

So I just found out about this in a random thread on here. I'm surprised there wasn't at least one thread up about it already. I can't believe they're making a new one. I played this shit as a kid when a friend of mine got a SNES from his older brother. Shit was so fun. I've been wanting to replay it recently, and was thinking of getting it on the Wii U. But now I find out there's a sequel coming out and out of fucking no where too.

Anyone else incapable of getting into these games? Especially with the combat, which is very mediocre.
I love them but I wont lie. So many people said 1 was great I bought it, played and couldn't make it too far into the first village the combat sucked so much.

This time I force myself to get through it's combat system and ended up loving it. Combat sucked at first, got the rhythm down, ended up liking the combat. Not loving it, just liking it.
This is what I honestly tell my friends. It normally takes about 20 minutes to get into a new games controls. Double that for the Witcher games. But once you have it down, it becomes an enjoyable game.

Well, you're just part of the modern cancer, that only stares at fucking combat, in an RPG game. And while doing so, you're comparing it to DaS or something, expecting 1:1 real-time, direct-control type scheme.
TW1 was the only good game in the series so far. I played it a good 4 times in a row within couple months, and that got me super hyped for the sequels. Sequels that were just consolized, butchered shit.

Jesus, just typing this here is making me want to go replay TW1:EE. It is kind of slow-burn, very high reward sort of title. A true comfy: the game, where you also get to sex up pack of vampires.
