Because the card acquisition is bullshit. All previous games gave you an indication of pack percentage that you own so you know when it's time to move on to a different pack, but this one doesn't do that so you could just keep getting useless 4th and beyond copies of cards and never take notice.
And good luck trying to find complete packlists, they're incomplete as shit.

Yeah if you didn't use the cheats to get some decent cards you spent a lot of time farming to get half decent cards. Getting good cards was pretty painful too because you got like one per game and it had a shitastic roulette.
