Howdy /v/.
So I found a visual novel earlier today called Dorei To No Seikatsu (aka Life with a Slave) thanks to someone here. They said it was great, and it has been. I've unlocked all the main scenes, but I can't seem to figure out how to trigger the ending. Anyone know how? Does this game even have an ending? Can't find any info online.
Also, can anyone recommend me some more games like this one? I've played other visual novels (Steins;Gate, Kana, Okaeri!, Katawa Shoujo, Unteralterbach) but this one is my favorite. Its very comfy and enjoyable,...

There is no ending, you just live with her happily ever after until you get bored and stop playing.

After 3 blunders in a row, are people ready to admit this is the most overrated dev currently going?
>>337976446
You're so funny and interesting
>Three blunders in a row
You're either forgetting about bloodborne or you think that DS1 is perfect. Either way you're retarded.
Every game they ever made has been shit
It's just with the souls formula they made a barebones combat mechanic that felt hard when taking on boss's until you got gud and then it became boring and you realized how shit they are
>Could this generation of gaming be considered a "Golden Age" of sorts?
The Golden Age is always the near-mythic time 'back then' that happened 'over there.' People never seem to know that they're in a golden age when it is actually happening.

>a "Golden Age" of sorts?
It's a golden age of gimmicks.
A "Golden Age" in media would imply a period of time where the media came the closest to its ideal form and had the greatest volume of output that came close to this ideal. Now ask yourself what your vision of the definitive ideal video game is, and then ask yourself how close the average game today matches this ideal.

Whats the best video game trailer?
That dead island one, you know the one
Battlefield 1 set the bar so high it is hard to watch old trailers, they all look boring

I don't get it.

Sufficient disparities between the two games to make it an individual IP unto itself.
But yeah, that's basically a 2D Souls ripoff.
Why did RTS games die?
Also talk about Dawn of War III I guess.

Could there have been a more edgy final boss than this?
>He's the combination of every fighting style merged into one Lord!
>He can use every type of spell at the same time!
>He has a "DIE DIE DIE DIE DIE! Psssh nothin' personnel kid" combo in his second phase!
>He has attacks that have a near impossible to dodge AOE!
Why did he come straight from someone's shitty fanfic on DeviantArt?

You guys said it was good, but all I got was a shitty story and characters with shallow gameplay.
Fuck you.

How about you learn to read, moron. Nobody said it was >good, it was a good port of a mediocre game. They should be recognized for unlocking FPS and resolution along with kb&m support, and that's all that was. They're not being praised for the game support.

It's not that difficult, just rush ahead and kill the ghouls before they engage with the Caravan. Additionally, wait until the guards are close before you start the quest. You get doggy + guard support.
>>337974213
>It's not that difficult, just rush ahead and kill the ghouls before they engage with the Caravan
You make it sound as though the shitty swords in this game don't do pathetic damage, and that if EVEN ONE ghoul gets past you there's no way to catch up with it. You engage one, the other fucks off towards the field.
You can only watch as it tears through everything in one hit in seconds.
>>337974469
Look, you only need to defend the single guy, anyone else can die and you can still succeed the quest. And if you get the guard to help you, they can't actually die. Usually you have 2x militia, 2x doges and 1x guardsman to help you. The militiamen die in two hits but they're a good distraction for the scenario you just described. Afaik that's only in the final wave where there are 4 of em.
If naughty dogs games were multiplats would their games be as praised as they are now?
>>337973863
There would be a lot less shirt posting about it desu
>>337973863
Yes, because they're incredible approachable due to their movie-like presentation.
I'm not saying they play like movies, they just look and sound like ones
>>337974202
film is a far superior medium to vidya when it comes to storytelling so I don't see how this is an insult to a story heavy game
