I disagree with you on level design. While they were aesthetically pleasing, the layouts were a fucking mess. For example Iron Keep and Earthen Peak. As for the bosses I would definitely say there was better variety in DaS2 but there were also a lot of underwhelming and more than a few pointless fights, like Rats, Congregation and Spooky Lords. I think Soul of Cinder was a much better final boss though. I liked the music in DaS2 a lot more also.

I've been a die-hard gamer for most of my life, through my childhood always wanted to be a pro. Been playing this shitty game for the past 3 years. Went from Silver to Diamond in 1 season so thought I had a chance. 2 seasons later I'm still garbage and realize I'll never make it anywhere in high elo.
Lately no games have really been very entertaining and I've just lost the drive to play. My favorite games, Osu!, Terraria, DFO, and of course League have all felt so dull.
Looked through steam for any game that looked interesting, can't feel motivated to play any. Does /v/ know why I can't enjoy games anymore? Or know of a game that's really addicting and fun to play? I need guidance :(

Diamond here in league as well, after playing league and getting a taste of ranked/LP for years it kinda nullifies the fun of single player games and other multiplayers. I felt like I needed to keep climbing, luckily with enough time, I can say I'm back to enjoying games and I don't play league as much, it is really cancer. This year I played Dark souls 3, Ratchet and Clank, Uncharted 4, Doom, Blade and soul, and The Witness. Having a pretty chill time, and im a very diverse gamer.

I've been playing this game for the first time and the only two bosses that have even killed me were armor spider and maneater. Now I'm on old king allant and I can't fucking do it. does anyone have any tips? I've been trying for hours

BTW allant is the second hardest thing you can fight in that game, no the actual final boss is not the first

Once you get the roll timing down he's not that bad, dodge an attack and spam R1, then back off after a couple hits. You should have nearly infinite Full Moon Grass from the knights on the way to him, so as long as you have enough health to survive being hit you should be able to just win via a battle of attrition.
I hope you killed the dragon on the way, makes dying far less frustrating.

I played ff9 on ps1 and it just fills all the tropes and I hate it. 2 discs in and shit was starting to get interesting but I was bored the whole time.

They gave out copies and we have footage from alot of third parties, might be a good launch finally. Day0 has support for getting rid of regional occupation too.
I think it looks fun.
I wanted to like Atilla more but the time period and optimization put me off, this looks a lot better optimized from what I've seen and the setting is neat.
