I'm pretty sure all the people who wanted to play it played it on the first week and everyone who wants to discuss it has moved to /vg/.
When I played UNdertale I had fun and felt engaged.

I really think the randomized loot goes against the gameplay in Ni-Oh, this ain't Diablo, for a fixed world with unlockable shortcuts souls-style you need a consistent difficulty curve and ability to randomly get a weapon with huge damage negates the whole point of it(reminds me of Darksiders 2, that did the same and fucked up its zelda-liek gameplay). Also one thing it really has going for it is the variety in combat abilities with different stances, but then they lock most of it behind unlockable skills. I liked the demo, but I think it's not really living up to its potential because of those mechanics and the sad thing they were clearly put in the game because devs were too afraid to look like a souls rip-off.

What's the point of making the demo time limited? Shouldn't you want as many people to try the game as possible, especially with a new ip?

I love GnG but this game was trash. Instead of well thought out enemy placement they just spam airborne enemies during platforming sections for "challenge".

It doesn't matter how much time has passed. The game should be judged on its immediate merits. Consider the control of information from MGS2's Patriots. Do you not think that this game is trying to normalize 'progressive' values? Do you understand that its explosive success is not because of its gameplay? How powerful is Geralt actually?
Having only played the games, he comes across as a total badass. Playing up how strong a Witcher is compared against a normal human, with gameplay mechanics and playing him against anything but boss monsters feels like playing an unstoppable killing machine (when you've got some levels of course). It's great.
But looking into the books a little, I see he seems to get beaten around fairly regularly and I wonder if the games might be overselling him a little comparatively.
Ex. Vilgefortz, a Sorcerer, beat him without using magic.
As far as I understand it, he's just a regular guy without magic. Yet he kicked Geralt about with a staff and only lost to him later because of Regis, seems a little strange he's able to overpower a guy that's meant to be effectively a superhuman.
i only played the games as well but isnt he part of a prophecy/chosen one type thing? that shit automatically makes any character able to overcome anything

I found bullshit that he could beat a high vampire like it was nothing in the game. Those motherfuckers are final boss tier in the lore, in the books and supposedly in the games too, but nope, he just best him like that.
