I love GnG but this game was trash. Instead of well thought out enemy placement they just spam airborne enemies during platforming sections for "challenge".
It did look nice and have some great music at least.

Generally speaking, it plays more like a straightforward arcade game like the older games did.
This means:
>no RPG fetch quest shit
>limited continues
>one hit makes you lose your armor and the next hit kills you
>mid-level checkpoints
>shields and magic are just found regularly in levels
>magic work like in the older games, use as much as you like, just have to charge first
>shields protect you from one hit
It also changes enemy placement around, overall making things more fair.
It's basically Ultimate changed into a proper GnG game.
