Let's start with a story. Battleborn was announced, and being Gearbox (I forgot and forgave for it's indiscretions, and hey I didn't mind Pre-Sequel) I was delighted. Then no more than a week, Blizzard announced Overwatch. Much to my chagrin, I ended up forgetting that Battleborn existed until Blizzard's marketing took a slow. Overwatch ended up being the TF2 clone I was expecting. This isn't a story to bash Blizzard, though I rather would like to.
So it came time to pick of the two, and having watched enough Overwatch and having participated in the Open Beta, I wasn't impressed enough to want to spend the money. Then came around the release of Battleborn, and was the time to watch streams of it's release. I fell in love instantly.
I spent the money for the Digital Deluxe, and over the past 31 hours I've logged, this game has never failed to make me laugh at every turn. The dialogue though it can get repetitive is always funny, hearing characters taunt one another (Get a Benedict vs. Toby. Trust me.) gets better and better, and just the general things that characters say seem to get funnier each time. Borderlands flourished on it's humor, and Battleborn has only taken that humor and ran far with it.
So thank you Gearbox, thank you for making a genuinely funny game with a genuinely enjoyable gameplay experience. Yeah the game might have it's flaws right now, but absolutely nothing is perfect at launch. And besides, you tell me you don't laugh when Marquis kills Phoebe and says: "Oh, I am so fired."

Why can't we get amazing star wars games like this anymore? We had KotOR, KotOR 2 and pic related (and to a lesser extent, rebel strike). We had the first 2 battlefronts and jedi outcast. We had empire at war, which I thought was awesome. We had the clone wars video game from 2003. Even lego star wars was fun for a little while. What do we have now? A half finished EA reboot of battlefront and an MMO that has many fans wishing for a true KotOR 3.

SW production has been fucked for years, even before Disney - Lucasarts ended up just as bad (just look at KotOR II getting fucked over or Bioware's trash mmo)
Doesn't help that Bioware went to hell as a studio before they were given the rights to the MMO
Fallout 4 general.
So how's everyone enjoying Far Harbor? I plan on exhausting all the DLC's before heading to the Nexus to look at mods.
What's everyone's level? What's everyone's loadout? Favorite weapons? Play styles?
I have always gimped myself in all Fallouts by playing on the highest difficulty while also disallowing the use of all chems/drugs and never using Power Armor even when it's available to me. Does anyone else do this sort of thing with their characters? Place restrictions or uphold certain playstyles?
I'm currently mixing up melee/ranged with a tricked out chinese sword, double shot plasma rifle, and my trusty MIRV Big Boy of utter annihilation.
Also if you know of good Fallout 4 mods I should keep in mind please feel free to post them.

Level 56, Overseer's Guardian, instigating quad-barrel missile launcher with targeting computer (pretty much god mode on survival, if you have all the heavy weapon perks it does 1200 to a full health enemy, x3.5 with stealth). I use Spray n Pray and the Deliverer too.
