MH is nearly the same feel.

MH can get close, but it's paced more conservatively. There is limited hit feedback, so the hits that feel "good" are relatively few and far between when you happen to land a solid swing that trips the stagger thresholds.
Different strokes, for sure. The big pays offs are less frequent, but arguably feel better when they happen, but often times it's a bit frustrating to me personally. I could definitely do with a bit more visual flare to make most hits appear a tad heavier, even if it's only visual. I recall playing the original north american MH that had the blood censored to the tiniest little spurts, no matter how much damage you did with the swing and it felt like dog shit. Eventually got Freedom Unite and the generous geysers made otherwise the same game feel fucking incredible by comparison.
Just imagine how good Bloodborne could be, if it was made by competent developer, like Obsidian
