I did a second playthrough on the new Survival mode with a lot of mods that made the game significantly different. That + the new dlc added at least 100 hours.

This basically says "I don't know why you retards are whining, a whole .08% of games do the thing you want! Isn't that good enough?" That's incredibly insulting to customers and idiotic in general.

That's a large portion of the playerbase, considering most people who are still playing the game today do not raid or attempt any of the turns with tough mechanics.

Well, yeah, that's about 2/3rds of the playerbase.
And they're not necessarily shitters; if you weren't there to experience Turn 9 when it was relevant, a lack of interest (and farm/clear parties that insist upon unsyncing it) will ensure you'll never experience T9 as intended.
