Do video games only appeal to men because there's a lack of innovation in the industry? Girls love stuff like Journey and Portal which is considered to be "fresh" by the industry standards. Meanwhile, rehashes like CoD only attaract dudebros and kids. Maybe it has to do with aesthetics but it's hard to find a girl into Battlefield or any other shooter.
The females I know that play video games don't play the brown and grey shit that gets pushed out in the west. They like colorful stuff like Kingdom Hearts and LBP.

Because it's well designed and free. It's only garbage because of the player base. To be completely honest, if it had a subscription fee, it would be a lot more tolerable. I would instantly agree to pay a fee if it meant that the number of 12 year olds and autists would be cut significantly.

I've been keeping an eye on the job listings on Crystal Dynamics' careers page on their website here:

Most of these position descriptions directly referred to the Legacy of Kain franchise by name up until recently. All of the listings that had these references have been modified since then, and no longer feature any references to any games. Unfortunately, I did not take screenshots of any of these listings when they had these references.
Things to also consider:
-Crystal Dynamics' Michael Brinker recently stated that there's a '50/50' chance of a new LoK title being developed (http://www.finder.com.au/crystal-dynamics-interview)
-Crystal Dynamics just wrapped up development on RotTR
-Nosgoth was very abruptly cancelled despite JUST releasing new content a few weeks prior to the announcement (http://www.gamespot.com/articles/legacy-of-kain-pc-multiplayer-spinoff-nosgoth-canc/1100-6438660/)
I'm beginning to think that we may actually get a new Legacy of Kain title. Let's hope this turns out better than LoK: Dead Sun.

What people don't seem to remember is that he had a co-writer from MGS1 to 3, and a lot of MGS1's script was altered through localization by Jeremy Blaustein who had to rewrite a lot of it because Kojima's original was so heavy handed and cringey. That pissed Kojima off so bad that he fired Blaustein and got a woman localizer instead for MGS2 who directly translated it with no alterations. According to her, it was the worst writing she'd ever seen, but of course everybody thinks she's exaggerating or wrong because lmao woman.
So yes, he's a hack. MGS4 exposed his hackery and TPP just made everyone finally acknowledge it instead of continuing to plug their ears up.
