Game Idea
>Games star some loser nerd (middle school or possible early high school?)

>Gameplay be adventure gamey with tons of minigames where you are forced in a weird or mundane but turned over the top situation and tried to make it not cringe as possible

>One of the minigames could be defending your (bad) opinion on a Internet forum and it would be like dangan ronpa where you find contradictions in people counter arguements, search for stuff on the Internet to help gain a edge in debates
>Maybe Depending on how you acted on the forum way before the minigames starts, you may have people help you out or not even run into the problem at all due to your popularity
>Another one could be where someone is super pissed off at you and you have to keep your cool while picking the right things and tone to use at the same time

Really? No thread on this? I'm surprised. I was pretty interested in Scalebound upon its initial announcement and released details, but the gameplay shown during Microsoft's conference hurt my soul. I know it's co-op and all but it looked like fucking shit and the protagonist is literally retarded. Am I alone in this?

Why is this game so highly regarded? I could write a fucking thesis on how overrated it is, but it really boils down to how shitty the combat is, I mean, even compared other first person shooter games that have bad combat, Half Life 2's is exceptionally bad.

No faggot, hitscan bullet sponge enemies in a game that's not an rpg is inexcusable. Compare the combat in this game to something like Quake and try to tell me that it's anything other than passable.
When Fallout has better combat than your game that's centered around combat then you fucked up.
Which is the one everyone says to avoid? Is it Origins or Knight? I played the first 2 on 360, and right now Knight is on sale for half off on PSN. Should I get it, or is this the one that's panned? Also, do you need to play origins to get the story in Knight?
Origins is average. Knight is pretty solid game (Even on PC it's decent now). Get Arkham Knight

Dishonered was one of my favorite games next to Sleeping Dogs. This game was so good that even after I'd scratched it up and had to keep resetting the game because of the no killing thing I wanted to do I thoroughly enjoyed it.

This is the first Blizzard game I actually had fun with since Diablo II. Why is /v/ shitting on it?This is actually a D.Va thread. Post best character.
Blizzard is fucking goat. In an era when Nintendo, Sony, Capcom, Konami, Bethesda, Id, Square Enix, Creatice Assembly, Sega, Platinum, Bioware and Ubisoft have gone down the toilet, Blizz are the only ones who manage to hold a pretty good track record in my eyes.
Granted, I haven't played HotS or WoW because I don't like MOBAs or MMOs, but I've enjoyed every single one of their other games except diablo 3, which was a bit shit.
Diablo 1/2, Starcraft 1/2, Warcraft 2/3, Hearthstone and OW are all fucking great. Blizz definitely don't deserve the bad rep people give them these days.

Like all blizzard games, overwatch is a grand casualization of the class-based shooter genre. Blizzard is good at 1 thing: marketing. They're very good at casualizing a genre and marketing a game so people thing it's "genre-defining" even if it brings absolutely nothing new to the table.
Personally I was disappointed because the game was marketed at a "return to 90s shooters" or as a "Loveletter to 90s shooter", but really shares no qualities with those shooters besides healthpacks.
The movement is slow; you know scout in tf2 is faster than tracer?
There's virtually no advanced movement.
The most advanced movement options are wasted on classes like lucio, who is a brain dead press 1 button support class. You can rocket jump/ sticky jump, but you cant air strafe, you cant build momentum and you cannot chain jumps. junkrat cant use his mines to move horizontally. They literally only send him up and again, he cant airstrafe.
I like the character designs, but I find it eclectic and not cohesive whatsoever. I guess we are spoiled by games like league of legends or heroes of the storm where devs get away with hodgepodge art design.
All in all, I wanted to like Overwatch, but the things I found appealing in class based or arena shooters were simply not present, and I can't just pull the waifu wool over my eyes and enjoy the game for what it is. Though, I respect your decision to play the game. it is fun casually and with friends.
