What do you think they are doing to do in the next balance patch?
I'm pretty sure Reaper will be the next balance, and thank God for that.
I know it's frustrating finding a character you love who is powerful as fuck only to have them be nerfed, but having one catch-all character for every situation really sucks the life out of a team-building game that calls for specific roles for specific scenarios.

OK, you want to keep Link male and the only protagonist. Fair. But here's what you MUST have instead:
- Female companions (Zelda, another hylian girl, a female Zora, etc.) join you through the story and work like Wolf Link but without an amiibo)
- You can manage their equipment to give them weapons and armors
- Different armors change their appearance just like Link
- They can have no armor and be in underwear just like Link
- Their dresses count as armor which once removed can be equiped on Link
- Holding R lets you hold hands like in Ico, useful to guide them somewhere specific
- They'll talk to you depending on what you're doing, like warning you if they see enemies or doing chitchat if you're cooking
- Finally, you can raise your relationship with them by giving them food, holding hands, relaxing with them around a campfire which makes them more affectionate when talking to you
