The game's difficulty is completely trivial so just play with who you like. Pretty much everyone is viable in some way.

Yeah, it's great. Better than the first in almost every way.
Prepare for disappointment when you finish it and realize no Darksiders 3.
Darksiders 1 was great. I enjoyed Darksiders 2 less, because even though the scope was much wider, the game just felt a little less polished and deep overall.
The music and art direction in DS2 are fucking fantastic though. For $12 I'd say its completely worth it.
