Got a copy of pic related, found my dad's old ps2 and some games. I never played final fantasy before, I have a choice between 10, 12, 7, 8, 9, 6, or 4. I'm thinking about starting with pic related since the graphics aren't too bad and it's voice acted. Is it a bad call? If so which one should I start with? Just seems like too many decisions to make one for me.

I started 8 a while ago,I couldn't continue, nothing really dragged me in.
I got to the point where I finished the ceremony and didn't feel it, I started playing xenogears and pokemon platimun instead.
I might go back though I'm feeling that itch now

So I know we're all having a chuckle at the oddity of trailer, but I thought it would be interesting to gather information we've all found in the trailer and theorize what it may possibly mean.
Don't misunderstand and think I'm saying it's actually deep, but I thought it would be entertaining to say the least to discuss it.
To start things off; Umbilical cords.
Every living creature in this trailer that seems to have died off (besides the baby) have an umbilical cord attached to them going into the sea. It seems that the world is set up primarily for him to view and the baby was next to him in a form of punishment. I believe the futuristic dog-tags and hand prints all over Norman are an implication of a career in the militia and all the "children" taken away by his hands.

I think the hand prints we see are indicative of a soul as both the large ones going toward the body of Reedus have the tar-like color, as to the childs when it's wondering back into the sea. The body that we see is not the actual body of Norman Reedus, but a vessel for him to experience this world. The one created by his own hands. The 5 Ominous figures are odd to me, because they could be the ones responsible for all of this, but to who they're in reference to: I have no idea/

It was so slow, though. And there was no skill-based movement aside from a few tricks. And the weapons weren't balanced. And the campaign wasn't all that clever.
Halo 2 multiplayer was better.

Bloodborne is nice to look at, but it feels like it has no substance. There seems to be a lack of diversity, and while general interactions are engaging they lack depth, fairness. Everyday life is more about witlessly encouraging aggression without understanding it.
Also, connecting with others is difficult, and is only possible on specific areas.
Furthermore, the people you engage with are two dimensional; the inherent hubris, or driving flaw that made people from Dark Souls 1 parallel to the thematic nature of their existence has been replaced with convolution of irrelevant history. The world should be more about how people deal with the setting and city, rather than why the setting/city exists in the first place.
And if you think I'm writing this just because I'm unskilled, then maybe you're just halfwit of your style over substance.
Also, I think the story is a dream within a dream, conjured by eyes if the sky born without a child.
