I've played both dark souls and demons souls and nothing in either of those games has given me the same frustration as my first hour with bloodborne

play without farming gems on the chalice dungeons on your first run
the first area/couple of bosses are the hardest parts of bloodborne, after that, it's pretty easy
really frontloaded in terms of difficulty
Also, if you've played the previous games, you shouldn't really be having much difficulty
