I'm not. Star Wars just isn't fun anymore. The series really is more concerned with making a product than a story. The sad thing is that I tolerated the prequels. At least they were trying to be genuine Star Wars and not the cheap cop out that TFA was.

TFA is as much Star Wars as the prequels, if not more because it remembers what Star Wars actually was.
Episode 7 problems:

It's never stated when the ending scene in FWWM takes place - it could be 25 years later or whenever, taking the non-linear time in the Lodge into account, and other mysteries surrounding its nature.
I love FWWM, it's my favorite from Lynch and one of my favorite films in general.
Laura doesnt become an angel and there is no heaven. Notice that no one says white or black lodge in FWWM. Its only THE lodge. That's because of the thematic significance Lynch is going for. Twin Peaks is about eastern notions of duality. Leland is both loving father and abusive Bob. Laura is both enfant terrible and homecoming queen. The after life in the lodge is both heaven and hell. The reason Laura is smiling, but also crying, at the end is something of an argument amongst fans. Some say the angel is taking her to the white lodge, but as stated earlier I dont think that works with Lynch's intentions with the lore. Another theory goes that the blue light on her is her watching Twin Peaks and seeing the positive and negative effects her life and death had on the residents of the town. That would explain why shes still in the lodge, because theres only one.
Fun fact: the actor of pic related is confirmed to be in the revival, along with several others who appeared only in FWWM, but not the show.

Frankly, I don't see much there to be argued - maybe you disagree. Why is she crying? Tears of joy, hysterical relief? After all the darkness, she's free at last. Seems quite unambiguous to me.
Wherever she's going, if anywhere, something has clearly changed. Her angel has arrived. What it means in regards to the lore, I can't say. There really isn't enough to go on. I also think the afterlife, if there is one, is better left a mystery for a variety of reasons.
