I predict that this is when people are going to start turning on the MCU.
See, with the other Avengers characters, people enjoy them partially because we have nothing similar to compare them to.
But we've already seen how good a Spider-Man film can be. There is literally no chance that MCU will deliver anything close to what Sam Raimi did. They gave some nobody director the reigns to their most popular character and it's gonna prove that what they do is formulaic and generic.
I think when Homecoming comes out, people are going to realize how much the MCU pales in comparison to better capeshit. They're going to realize the cinematography and action sequences weren't near as inspired as Raimi's.
