I didn't interpret the ending that way.
Ok anon enough time has passed. You can admit that even with a meh story you loved this film from the visuals alone.
It's old news now so you don't have to fear being made fun of.
It's only worth rewatching in (imax) theaters.
theres a gif of mcconaughey falling and its really surreal and trippy, kinda like 2001, i wish someone would post it
kinda sums up how i feel on drugs

I did.
Saw this with my friends in a crowded IMAX (a real one) and we were all blown away. One guy said he had dreamed of some of that stuff. Gave me a good escape from reality, and made me think a bit too.

I fucking loved the aesthetic on this. Bleak, sort of neo-noirish, yet there's all these interesting little flecks of color and strange surreal things to break shit up. It's really nice.
Any other movies like this? If not in subject matter, anything like this aesthetic?
inb4 Enemy
The style is completely different, not really similar. Brazil maybe?

Read the book
The movie is obviously only very loosely based on it, but it's fucking great
Mood Indigo by Michel Gondry is less bleak, but still strange and surreal. watch the shorter version. ive only heard god awful things about the long, original version.
also, watch Submarine. same director. again, not as bleak, but same sensibilities in film making.
Name one bad career choice this man made.

also he plays Michael Scott absolutely brilliantly
Carl is undeniably one of the greatest television characters of the last 15 years, and indeed, of all time.
Thinking otherwise is a sure sign of a pleb.
Well, you've convinced me.
Do you have a single fact to back that up?
"Stone Cold Lock of the Century" alone outdoes most entire tv shows if we're being 200% honest.

No. She has dedicated her life to pandering to her established fanbase.

shes probably the only celebrity that i still find attractive even though she had nudes leak
i seriously dont know what it is but seeing her in that really fuckin shitty X men film, with all the 70s garb on, turned me on
i like her sorta dopiness look if thats what you want to call it, shes hot to me, sorry
>>62789877
She looked hideous in X-Men though. Face didn't hold the blue well, she looked fat and strange.
I thought Jurassic World would be her big break. What happened?
As far as I can tell she checks every box for a leading woman in Hollywood.
>incredibly attractive
>good actress
>British (she will work cheap)
what's the hold up?
