Are there any anons here that prefer animated film to live-action? I'm not talking about just anime, but animation in general. To me there is just something astounding about crafting the whole aesthetic design of your work from scratch. I admit I rather prefer expresivness to subtlety and overt design to realism, be it surrealist, minimalist or otherwise.
Besides that let's just have a thread dedicated to animation and our favorite animated works.

When it is good it is good, regardless of medium.
I prefer highly stylized as well as highly detailed. But, the style has to be right otherwise it gets on my nerves (Aeon Flux for instance). Regardless of what it is, it better have good writing.
