Contact lenses confirmed. Immersion ruined. Autism intensified.
season 1 was just a 10 hour fight club ripoff
Ive recently watched this, apart from seriously flimsy story, it had decent acting performance and good thrill, they dont really make this kind of movies anymore, its not Heat with Al Pacino, but its not a total disaster either! Not bad entertainment all in all, what did you think?
>>71549471
I'm just gonna assume it's shit because Bruce Willis is in it. He fell off hard, just like Pacino and De Niro.
I really enjoy movies like this, so I watched it thinking I would enjoy it and truth be told I enjoyed it.
Overall, an enjoyable experience.
Tell me about the man on the left, why does he wear the mask?
Will there be Creed II? Who will be Donnie's opponent?

why do my wife and daughter keep biting their lips when they watch this film?
>>71559711
A white guy
Nah Creed has already been forgotten. When something is acclaimed because of social justice points it has a very short shelf life compared to something of actual quality. It has nothing going for it so whenever the people propping it up to push an agenda move on to something else the movie vanishes from popular culture in a flash.
Same reason no one has mentioned 12 Years a Slave since 2013.
What opinion has /tv/ about recent (less than 10 years) movies getting Criterion releases?

Answering this question is this board's ultimate purpose.
Don't think there is any difference.
Any must-see shit-Britain films?
Including British New-Wave films.
Some I've seen, enjoyed, and would recommend:
Scum
A Kind of Loving
Life is Sweet
Naked
Anything else you think is essential?
Pic related, it's a good film.

>Lex Luthor is a character who thinks Superman is evil and that he's deceiving everyone
>BvS Lex thinks if you are all powerful, then you are not all good. and wants to expose him but is also a millennial
what is the problem with him again?

He talks like berries and cream guy
>>71558369
>Lex Luthor is a character who thinks Superman is evil and that he's deceiving everyone
Since when?
Lex Luthors hatred for Superman stems from his own narcissism. He resents Superman for being superior to himself solely because of his alien DNA.
He craves the adoration Superman receives for himself. He sees himself as a kind of Ubermensch destined to lead humanity, but finds that Superman is constantly in his way.
>>71558518
>Lex Luthors hatred for Superman stems from his own narcissism
yes, but he reasons it. He views himself as the hero of the story
Was looking to get into ramsay's kitchen nightmare. Anons here reccomended the UK one. I figured if it's worth it I'll suffer through the briton accent.
Just gave a shot to the first episode. I don't know what fucking camera they're using but I felt like I was on acid during the whole thing. I mean just look at that thing:

Did I get memed on? is the US version watchable?
>>71548997
Here's the thing. If there are two versions of something and one is wildly popular (the US show) stupid fucking hipsters will delude themselves into thinking the shittier version is superior because it's less popular and they're obviously better than all the plebs that watch the popular one. Then they come here and talk about how good the snooze fest UK one is to look like they're superior. Don't listen to them, even people in the UK watch the US one more often.
>>71548997
Do you want interesting programmes where it actually shows improvement in the restaurant but its also still quite funny Gordon laying into them when necessary?
Yes - watch UK version
Do you want memes?
Yes - watch US version

Happy birthday to Olivia de Havilland, who was born 100 years ago.
>>71548914
Any nudes?
Impressive
You were a real dame Olivia
I've seen it yesterday and it was boring as fuck. I liked Gosling and Crowe, they've had chemistry and all but the movie felt like it was meant for the kids. A young girl that solves all the problems, republican boogeyman. It wasn't even funny apart from some moments. 5/10 overall because I liked it was set in the 70s.
>>71548825
I felt the same as you. Felt like I got completely ripped off and by an hour in I was pissed off and wanted it to end already.
>>71548918
This. There was a moment when I felt sleepy. It literally never happened to me in the cinema.
Everything was great, except for the script.
