>be highly trained soldier in a nazi-like army
>turn off the most important defense system on our deathplanet because some punk pointed a gun at me
she was the absolute worst thing in the movie. you would think that someone of this high caliber would give up their life so that her army wouldn't get crippled.
Actually it didn't have shield, it's a myth the First Order made up and the Resistance believed because they are stupid, that's why Phasma turned it off.
Think about it, did any shield was show during this 2 hours movie? The shield is a lie bro.
>>64271545
you can clearly see on the screen that she turned off the shields. the pilots also notice it.
>>64271459
The only thing I can think of was that it was an ego thing. She thought so goddamn highly of her soldiers that she figured turning off the shields would cause nothing but quick deaths for the rebels.

Reminder that blowing up Starkiller Base resulted in deaths of possibly billions of unwillingly indocrinated stormtroops just like Finn. How in the fuck are Resistance good guys, again?

I shall report you to the closest jewish authorities.
The other day, I went to go see TFA with a girl who had never seen a single Star Wars movie in her life.
She literally knew nothing about it. She had no idea who any of the old characters are. She knew who Darth Vader was in the sense that she could recognize him if you showed her a picture, but she didn't know that he was Luke's father or that he was a fallen Jedi or any of that.
It made me realize that despite mostly being a "soft reboot", they really don't go easy on new viewers at all. She couldn't stand the part where Han and...

This is actually pretty interesting. A lot of the film is reliant on you having atleast average to above average knowledge of the previous films. I don't consider that a bad thing at all, but what do people in India and China think of it? I can't imagine everyone over there going to see it has seen the other movies.
this is so that people who know nothing about it will think 'there is a whole universe (franchise) to this that I know nothing about', and go out and buy other star wars stuff.
ITT we post our favourite 10 movies, our age, and our country. For science.
Feel free to shitpost but post your own list so we can return the favour.
Also clarifying that it's favourite 10 - not the ten you consider to be the best.

Do you think he enjoyed the new Star Wars?
hope Disney will cast him to play Anakin/Vader clone

Can he watch movies in prison?
he's patrician so probably not
I don't get Dredd. While the "bad guys" are definitely reprehensible, I find the judges equally disgusting: being homeless and taking drugs is illegal, and there are various scenes (for example the scene in which the rookie is forced to kill a perp who is begging for his life, and the subsequent scene in which it is revealed he had a family) which clearly paint Dredd and the justice system in a negative light. Whose side am I meant to be on?

No, it's clear you dont get it.

On the side of the dumb and retarded
>>64268989
Yeah I get that, but my point is why give the viewer ammunition to dislike them if the intention is that they are the good guys.
So when does it get good?
That's your own prerogative reddit.
>>64268934
you just have to read the 50+ volume ongoing mange before watching the whole 13 episode season to enjoy it.

If you had told me that neo-nazis would be the final villains in BrBa I would have top kek'd in your face during season 4.
>>64268630
But you're right, it peaked at season 1 and it's all downhill from there.
why are all lesbian films lewd as shit? can't they make one that doesn't have nudity and shit in it. a rated g one.
Because that's their selling point. Also kill yourself if you watched the entirety of this movie and not just the fap worthy skin, you cumstain.

This. If they simply wanted to make a g-rated romance flick, they would make a normal one, not homo shit.

>Diary of River Song is post-Husbands edition
OP here just proving my point:
In the first audio, River has her sonic trowel from The Husbands of River Song.
In the second audio, River has a sonic screwdriver. It would kind of ruin the emotional weight if she already had a different one in The Husbands of River Song.
In the third audio, River is comfortable with the idea that the Doctor has more bodies than One-Eleven. In fact, she speculates that it's down to her giving him regeneration energy in Let's Kill Hitler. In The Husbands of River Song, she won't even consider the idea and doesn't realize Twelve is the Doctor.
So, I repost
What episodes do you think would become liked radically more or radically less in the future compared to now? And why?
>>64267386
I agree with the anon in the last thread that Hell Bent will be more liked and Whithouse's water ones less liked
Kill the Moon will be remembered as an absolute classic IMO. Watch it happen.
I think Face the Raven will be remembered worse because people feel its end was wrecked by Hell Bent (arguably)
Here's some Rogue One plot details. This will be considered a "greek tragedy" as most of the rogue one crew dies while stealing the plans. There's also a giant ground battle scene at the end that's very Saving Private Ryan inspiredThe rogue one crew is comprised of bounty hunters, pirates, and smugglers. They don't really care about fighting the Empire at first, they just want money, but after seeing how horrible the Empire is first hand they convert to Rebels. One of them is a secret Empire plant who betrays themThe...
