I feel like if I saw this movie I'll either love it or hate it, and that's a 50/50 chance I'll regret spending my money.
>>71653952
The way the directors described the movie was a movie where the first fart makes you laugh and the last fart makes you cry and if that doesn't sell you man idk what will

>I know, I know, it's outrageous. Still, if the board doesn't like one's meme, one has to accept the fact gracefully.
>But what is it that they don't like?
>I can speak for anon. You make too many demands on the brain. The poor man can barely focus on one meme... you gave him four.

It's okay. Gets a bit preachy at times. Personally I preferred the early series of DS9.
What is the armament of the lollipop?
What was the meaning of this scene?
to see what condition his condition was in.

Top post.
Lebowsky's Saddam was GOAT.
just finished watching pic related, wow. That was a great movie. Anyone wanna discuss it? Any other movies you'd recommend me?
Reminded me vaguely of John Wick. Just in terms of story-to-fight scene ratio.
Both movies used the story to setup said fight scenes.
It wasn't gr8 it was good though, & watch the lobster
This movie wasn't as gruesome as /tv/ said it would be.
Daily reminder that Dawn of Justice is objectively shit and that there's nothing you can do about it.

We know BvS is trash

I'm not the only stupid person who barely understood this movie, right? RIGHT?
It was good, don't get me wrong; but I'm not gonna pretend I understood it. The whole movie is just complete financial jibberish.
It's certainly complicated, but this movie did just about the best possible job explaining everything as efficiently and entertainingly as possible. The book is great, too.
> the whole movie is complete financial jibberish
They explain everything in terms that a 12 year old could understand
If you don't fully understand the inner workings of derivatives and CDO's, thats fine, you're not meant to. But if you missed the basic idea behind what caused the crisis, then you weren't paying attention

Banks were giving out loans to people who couldn't pay the loans back, which eventually led to a collapse of the housing market, because many of these loans were mortgages? I think that's the overall jist of it, right? If the money you lend somebody can't be paid back, it basically just gets written off. So basically billions upon billions were lost due to wreckleasly lending to people who couldn't pay but nobody seemed to care.

The movie looks boring, and has a stupid name. Not good to draw fans to it.

Nobody cares about a jew pedophile anymore surprise surprise.
Why is Orson Welles so based? Even though he created the best film of all time, he managed to stay humble, likable, funny, and even blunt and sarcastic against pretentiousness. Can you name any artist with a better personality than him?
i like orson welles too
i wont say he's superior but i think werner herzog has a great personality too, and he's made some of my favorite all time movies
Welles was pretty damned based.
I'd like to nominate Nicholson as fellow great personality.
Kubrick seems really cool based on Cameron's story:
>"It was my 40th birthday present to myself. I was on vacation in Europe, and I called him up and said, ‘I’m coming over,’ and went to his house in England. My wife at the time was freaked out that I wasn’t going to be back home for my birthday. But I said, ‘I’m going to meet Stanley Kubrick. There’s no present, no surprise party, no nothing you could give me that would supersede that.’ So I went to see this reclusive guy knocking around this big house and he just totally...

>fucking amazing movie
>totally enthralled
>suddenly b-movie horror crap almost to the end
>just barely saved by the last few minutes returning to form
This movie would be a masterpiece, worthy of halls of fame and longevity in human memory, if they'd just axed that scooby doo monster mash garbage. Literally just chop that bit out and it's a classic.
fuck you, now I gotta go watch capa's jump again
>>71651291
agreed.
can anybody justify that slasher/horror crap? like, an explanation for why it was necessary and is actually good?
>>71651499
My only thought was that maybe they were worried viewers would get bored, so they put in a monster to add tension.
Besides a business, would could a modern Hamlet replace the kingdom with?
