Sup, /tv/? I just got back from an early screening of Ghostbusters® (2016) starring the beautiful Leslie Jones and Melissa McCarthy. Three words: hella f*cking epic.
I went with some friends and I don't think we went more than 10 seconds without standing up clapping. I mean what can I say about the two leads that already hasn't? They're movie godesses.
The supporting cast holds their own though: it's got the incomparable Kristen Wiig, the lovely and talented Kate McKinnon and Chris Hemsworth, the pundit from my favorite movie Red Dawn.
This is, without a doubt, my favorite movie of the year so far (and arguably one of the greatest comedy movies of all time) so I highly suggest you and some friends go out and see it when it comes out July 15, 2016.

ID4 2 is terrific
So I was gonna see a movie after work today before I went home. These are the movies that match with my schedule for the night. Which one should I see /tv/? I don't really want to see BFG so it's mostly between the other three.
I liked the original Now You See Me (except the ending which was awful) and I don't think I've seen the original Conjuring but I don't think that'll negatively impact the experience. I've also never seen a Purge movie but I get the basic plot idea and don't think that'll mess up my viewing either.

Conjuring 2 for sure, it's very good for a horror sequel. And their is one scene that will stick with you for a while.
The Purge 2 and 3 are basically B Action Movies, but they're pretty enjoyable.

I'm looking for anything about con artists or confidence tricks in film and TV. I've put together a pretty long list of films already, but it's harder with television because if I haven't already seen it, I can't really pick out a good episode.
For TV, I basically have "The Long Con" from Lost, "Pilot" and "Forging Bonds" from White Collar, and "Marco" and "Inflatable" from Better Call Saul.
Anything that is either a good example of a con or about what a con is or how it works is perfect.
