Why do you think spear chucker was kicked out in the first 4 episodes or so? They recognized that and kicked them off.
I love the show because my grandfather and I would watch it together, but Alan Aldas constant liberal spewing pisses me off to no end. I also hate how he bashes the army constantly. The army is full of good men, but he makes it out to be that every person who willingly joins the army is a cuck.

He made no sense from the get go. They try to have a deep "I don't want to kill" moment at the very beginning and then they immediately have him gunning down his friends. He was so broken up over his buddy being killed, but then he switches on a dime and slaughters as many as he can. I know people have been joking about it a lot, but it was pretty jarring. It made no fucking sense. Of course then he becomes comic relief and fades into the background.

At the film's world premiere in London last week, the Daily Telegraph reported that the Trump moment was met with "loud cheering." The Metro newspaper called it a "massive cheer." A viewer at a different screening tweeted, "Went to watch Grimsby and the whole cinema clapped when Donald Trump got given AIDS in it."
Elsewhere in Europe, there were standing ovations. The joke, done in Baron Cohen's standard over-the-top style, is proving cathartic to overseas audiences terrified by Trump's rise.

It is a problem with the prequels, they're supposed to be fun adventure films but instead they're soul crushingly boring. Dune being full of exposition isn't a problem since it's not supposed to be fun adventure.

The problem with dune is that it's a FANTASTIC book. But if you want to adapt it, and do it justice, Lynch's version, minus studio fuckery, is about as good as you can get without turning it into action babby bullshit.
Some things don't need to be turned into movies unless you're just going to go completely bonkers like Jordorowsky's vision.
