were they autistic?
>>72086182
I went to a gifted class when I was young. It was about half asain kids, a quarter autistic nerds (of which I was a part), and a quarter pre-stoner kids.
>>72086262
This is an accurate description, for the most part, for me as well, though I live in an extremely racially homogeneous region, so there were a couple of Asian/South Asian kids but plenty of kids from really studious households, a good chunk of autists and a good few charming skeets (stoner kids).

>You're damned if you do and you're damned if you don't.
Could someone explain to a dumb person how this isn't a paradox?
Actually it is, because women aren't funny.
Come on, you can say it.
When the Feig crew were doing their own "original" movies (it's really just genre films but with "Woman can be gross too!" twist) nobody really took notice of how bad they were since they were isolated from actually good comedies. But when you put women into a comedy classic like Ghostbusters, doing the same exact MY VAGINA and VOMIT LMAO shtick you've had for your last couple of films, people realize that you're complete shit and get angry. Thus you have the Ghostbusters backlash.
Women just ruin everything.

Isn't that a good opening?

Possibly for The Heat, not a 144 million Blockbuster that wants to start a Cinematic Universe.
What does /tv/ think of this?

What does /tv/ think of Arrested Development?
reddit tier
Too good and popular so manchildren hate it.
I know it's very reddit but I like it and find it comfy. Except for Season 4, which is still okay but was not comfy but highly frustrating. The timeline was all fucky and I didn't like the little interaction that the characters had. I also wanted to throttle that fucking beaner kid that got to fuck Maeby.

>It's a tony and the gang do drugs while Effy sneaks out and sees her brother at a party episode
I miss this show, it was funny and well written, with an actual soul. Pity the third generation was bad and full of forced romance and soap opera moments. Still above any other teen drama
>>72085348
Tony is Effy's brother. Does he have a clone that goes to parties? Retard
Why is Chris positioned as the main character here? Tony and Sid were clearly the protagonists of gen 1.
Besides redlettermedia, what channels are worth following?
more like redditlettermedia lmao
the only channels that i am subbed to are GoodBadFlicks and Horrible Reviews
that weirdo harassing women in manhattan,
fuck i can't remember his name. he once made an hour long video on how some woman touched his arm or something. in another video he hits on an underage girl while her mom is there.
I'd like to start Twin Peaks discussion thread, because I finished it yesterday. (Haven't seen Fire Walk With Me Yet).
I really liked the show. It does not have any characters that are anything special expect for Dale Cooper. Most of the characters were two dimensional, I'd even say they all were 2D at best, but it kinda worked. Murder mistery intrigued me long enough to stay interested to the ending, which I really liked and also found very wierd, you could even say mindfuckish? What happened at the end? Bob entered in Dale, as he did with Leland, Coop's old rival died, Anna is alive and that was it or did I miss something? I'd say the best thing this show has going for it was Lynch's direction that really stood out in the second season, and made the show better. Almost every time when Bob was on the screen, I felt disturbed and somewhat scared. When Leland's wife had breakdowns, it was really scary, at least for me. Another thing that I loved about Twin Peaks was the atmosphere, I felt as though I lived there and I could feel with almost every character when they had their own problems. You can say that I was enchanted by it, it was really comfy. Casting was pretty good, and writing was good as well.
Some of the problems that I had were:
James's character was pretty weakly written. He was always just there, and didn't do anything for me.
Many of the characters aren't really interesting, James really stood out in terms of that, as I've already said. They're mostly 2D, and don't go out of their stereotype much, but, to repeat myself, it worked for the show so it really isn't such a big flaw.
Overall, I really liked the whole atmosphere of the show, I really felt as though I lived in Twin Peaks. Laura's case was intriguing and show's direction was really good. I'll probably see Fire Walk With Me Tonight, I heard it was really dark, which I like.
What did you think about the show, anons?
i didn't read this post.

Well, I'm not your parent or anything so you don't have to, and thanks for your BUMP. You can also contribute to the thread by adding your opinion on the show, if you've seen it that is.

And it was fine at the time, they tried to make the best of it. We can look back snidely now, but it's a non issue.
