world of GoT doesn't have Barons, if that was what you were driving at.

I never understood full plates. Like, how easy that would be to bully a knight in a full plate with a spear/lance

Not really. I loved the pilot until he wakes up. Such good directing, cinematography, atmosphere, acting and then it just sort of goes out like a lame fart.
>>
Am I really supposed to sympathize with terrorist-skinned main character, who also stole his dad's car?
>>

This. Even if he goes to prison for something he didn't do, it probably saves the lives of many down the line. An angry young muslim man who snorts blow and has access to a 4000lb killing machine?

Early reviews that have popped up from early screenings are all pointing a pretty consistent picture.

>It's a good movie, but not great. Better than BvS

>Action is good, pacing is solid, story is fine, character interactions overall work

>Humor is hit or miss

>Harley and Deadshot are the leads

>Joker is being way overhyped in the trailers because he has a pretty minor role. Jared Leto plays it very over the top, but it works

>Batman is also in it less than you'd expect based on previews

>One particular character relationship falls completely flat, which is bad because it's one of the movie's focal points

>Trailers are rather misleading, it's way grittier than they make it out to be

>Test-audiences seemed kinda' split on it. Movie is apparently "Not for everyone".

Ending was really mediocre. Not bad, but just eh.

That's the way a lot of the plot threads in LOST end actually. A lot of really good buildup with little payoff. Flash-Sideways' were a stupid idea too. The time travel in general was alright. I miss it.

Is she the JarJar Binks of Star Trek?

Whenever I rewatch TNG I cringe whenever I hear her voice. Why did the writers think it was a good idea to use her for more than 1 episode?

>Why does Roddenberry's wife play a recurring character?

It is a mystery.
>>
>>72082859
Yeah I guess...

It would be different if they didn't make the character a walking joke... she has absolutely no character development and its the worst thing in the show from beginning to end.

I mean really - with the GOT "all men must die" propagand, 200 net-flick feminist commercials running, Hilary running for office, shaved and colored hair, with a 50BMI the norm -- Kim and Miley pouting their bird lips and drug rehabs on every magazine stand and modern girls brains still running on the "Girl Power you can do it all" beta 1.2 from 1998 while they rack up 100k in student loans riding the cock carousel attaining unknown strands of HPV and HSV2, did we REALLY need to feed anymore of this histrionic responsible (soon to be) and single mom bullshit to teens and millennials of these generations????

There's nothing wrong with being a single parent tho.

What is the most violent scene you have every watched in film/tv?

I'm looking for stuff that isn't necessarily the most gratuitous but is really intense. Like the violence makes sense within the narrative, but it is so well directed that it's scary.
