Snyder is a good director if he has a good script and source material. Otherwise it's terrible. JJ Abrams is always mediocre.
BvS has no black main actors, no teen leads and the female lead doesn't get enough screen time.
There is nothing wrong with a black lead although I absolutely hate young teens taking over a film (like they did with Expendables 3).
The reason force awakens is so respected with critics (despite its non new storyline) is because it is politically correct!
BvS is not and due to Disney's obession of wanting gay actors which Snyder and DC are not (thank god) of course the critics are going to pan it.
