Is this any good /tv/?
Bored and want something funny and lightweight to watch
Yep, it's good. The pilot is the worst episode, though.
Yes, it's really good.
Humor is mostly dialogue based, with awesome voices and delivery.
The lines are wonderful.
Some movie/tv references, but not in a dumb way.
Only complain (for me): it can be kinda cruel sometimes. Two or three episodes were unnecessarily cruel IMO.
Still, recommend all the way.
It isn't good at all.
Take Star Wars and Star Trek out of the mix and what do you have left for good spaceshit?
>>71772924
Babylon 5
Battlestar New and Old
Farscape
Stargate
Sliders
Starfleet X Bomber
>>71772924
Farscape.
Stargate.
Firefly.
BSG.
Red Dwarf.
Lexx.
Babylon 5.
Starship Troopers.
A couple more I've probably forgotten.
Space 1999
What snacks do you eat at the cinema?
As an American, I eat 2-3 jars of fried pigs feet.
2-3 drums of nacho cheese with a large diet coke
i often enjoy a cottage pie
A cold glass of crab juice and a bowl of silkworms

Just KANGZ my shit up.
They already got a hot as fuck mixed race black girl to play Iris in the show.
>>71772826
She was actually really hot in Dope, if she gets cast, I might go see a DC movie.

What storyline would YOU like for episode VIII?
Someone will think your idea sucks so you might as well say anything, but serious answers are welcome as well.
A George Lucas shaped artificial intelligence/space weapon that is big enough to have testicles the size of the original death star comes and literally kills the entire universe. The end.
Check em
>>71772441
So you want a big universe killing space cock with two Death Stars as balls?
I'd go see that.
I'm hoping for a storyline that hugely resembles Empire, like how TFA was similar to A New Hope.
Watched this film the other night, was blown away by it. What other sci-fi thrillers would you consider a must watch?
>>71772384
Not that one.
>>71772444
Relevant answer. Helpful.

I need a movie with similar melancholic chill vibe like this or Love Lisa for tonight. Throw some thoughts at me.

Take hold of your posteriors.
Hello, is it me you're looking for?
>I liked it, but it's objectively bad
Who are you quoting?
>>71772213
Pretty much how I felt after seeing Warcraft
>My favorite is X, but Y is better.
I'm living with my mother for a month and she wants to go watch a movie at the theaters this weekend. They all look like shit though so which one is the least awful?
go see Finding Dory, your mom will probably like it even if you don't

Stay home and watch Mousehunt
What's his problem?
Every movie he makes is edgier and more violent than last
Does he really like this theme or is he just meeting people's expectation of him?
You have literally never seen all his films. He makes things in every genre, even kids movies. Just delete this thread you retard. Or at least admit that you skip the films that are unlisted on IMDB
>>71772160
has he made any non-shit movies since 13 assassins? seems like he only has 1 up his sleeve per decade
>>71772160
His portfolio is actually highly inconsistent because he's not a writer / director. Sometimes he just slaves off an already existing script, like that time he made this movie starring those J idols.
In a social environment where everyone has gone soft, it's cool to see someone not backing down desu.
Gremlins 1&2
Killer Klowns from Outer Space
Attack of the killer tomatoes 1&2
The Blob
Whats next on the list /tv/?
>>71772127
braindead (dead/alive)
Late 90's/Early 2000's gimmicky slasher horror. That killer leprechaun movie, the evil gingerbread man movie, all the shit where they tried to copy and feed off of Chucky's success.
>>71772127
Anyone who likes Gremlins should watch pic related
A couple months ago an anon alerted me to the existence of a Turner Classic Movies mobile app, to which I had been ignorant, and i'm just sharing this knowledge.
It's been fantastic, and i've been able to see a lot of classic films I hadn't seen before. Live streaming as well as dozens of films on demand. You can watch on your smartphone or also in my case, airplay it to your Apple TV. Inb4 shill, I don't pay for cable, using my parents login info. What moved me to post this was getting home and seeing the new films on demand today, an awesome...

That was a pretty good thread. TCM is a pleb filter.

call me when they have an app that works on my Smart TV and isn't contingent on me paying for a cable package.
