Every movie he makes is edgier and more violent than last

His portfolio is actually highly inconsistent because he's not a writer / director. Sometimes he just slaves off an already existing script, like that time he made this movie starring those J idols.

Nothing is wrong with him. He once said in an interview, "I try to think of what scares me the most, then it must scare other people, that's my job". Not the best translation, but he's really a creative genius. I remember in his film Izo, he addresses it directly. Are you brutal because you're human or human because you're brutal
