Just got finished Season 1 of HBO's Rome. Loved it. What does /tv/ think of it? Is Season 2 just as good?
Yes and no.
I'd say nothing really tops muh thirteen but it's still great.

Loved it but 2 is something different.
Antony, Pullo and Vorenus are still based, but the rest of them, especially the new faggy Octavian ruin it IMO. Still great show though.
s2 is not as good as s1 - you can really see them rushing to end the show
having said that, some of Rome's best moments happen in s2 - if you liked s1, you'll probably like s2
