There is that whole plot with the fat sherrif dude who gets killed, then the slut and her brother get killed.
The Asian chick and the building up shes a daughter of the Emperor... then she just gets killed serving literally zero purpose in the show.
Those two brothers and one claims he's going to kill Ragnar and become king of all of the Vikings who just disappears in the timeskip.

It's better than their worst films but worse than their better films.
It's a very middling movie. It really just petered out at the end, the story didn't feel in any way resolved. I would rank it above Burn After Reading but way below any of their good films.
