I've been marathoning this show. Up to Episode 16 now.
For those who have seen; how do you rate this show? Especially the reveal of the killer.I felt that it was too rushed: I mean it would have been better to see more messages given to Cooper through visions etc and more clues before the father just stared at himself in the mirror and bam it hit us that Bob is his alter ego
All the Lynchian nightmare scenes are pure horror fantastic.

>how do you rate this show?
It's in my top 3.
In case you're blissfully oblivious to the history of this show, you're in for a sour surprise. See pic related. It also addresses why the reveal felt rushed (it was).
HOWEVER, as the image says, it is definitely worth getting through it for the finale, which is an excellent episode, directed by Lynch.

I'm telling you this because you might not have had the patience to watch all the filler (it really is that bad) if you didn't know it gets back into form at the end. This happened to a lot of people back in the day, when it aired.
So, when you're watching these episodes, remember, it's worth it.

What makes them fillers? Did they introduce unnecessary subplots?

Reminder that the show is still watchable if you skip all Dany and Arya scenes.

Which Clegane?
Well, Warcraft might not be an immediate success but it begs the question - which video games do you think would make a good movie?

Man I wish there was a sexy Aladdin parody movie.
Im sick of this sudden "Joffrey was a good king" and "Cersei dindu nuffin" circlejerk. King Tommen is bringing justice and peace to his kingdom. You sheeple are butthurt that the commonfolk are finally punishing the nobility for their transgressions. All of a sudden, The Mountain is a good guy (forget all his raping and pillaging in KL and Riverlands) and everyone is rooting for him against the faith, simply because Whore Cersei, the most repulsive "human being" in the saga was forced to do a walk of atonement. We are supposed to conveniently ignore...

I don't believe the high sparrow. He just wants to be a dictator. That said our own history of King and Pope power shows this. So maybe a dictator like religious power is necessary on the way to a democratic Republic.
Did you really need a new thread about this when there's 100 got threads out now? You already posted this exact same shit in another Joffrey post, dumbass.

Movies that were either hated or ignored that you loved.
This movie is great. Great characters, beautiful animation, good music, surprisingly good story.

You are far from alone, anon. I and all of my friends loved Ghostbusters 2 and we were all amazed at its bad reception.
>>70781088
This is such an oddly polarizing movie. It's clearly not as good as the first but I don't get the outright hate it gets from die hard GB fans.
I see this brought up a bunch. People are very against the notion that they do not understand something after watching, and remain confident in their thought even if they watch an acclaimed film and end up greatly disliking it. But my question is why? What makes people so anal about (the possibility of) not understanding something?
I realize that if you post a decent analysis/review/post about a film and someone leaves a one-liner about how you don't get it, then yeah, that's something else, it's just poor posting in general. But I'm really perplexed...

I hear the term lazy writing a lot. Everything else is fine, but this bit, this isolated occurrence is somehow just lazy writing.

Fresh IPs are always welcome.
But it smells like another stronk womyn fil to me. At least at first glance.
The stupid eyebrow raise got me I'll admit. Also I like the sound of it so far.
