Clegane seems like he's gonna join the Brotherhood and head North, likely he'll even meet up with Brienne since she's traveling by river and the Brotherhood is camped next to a river. No reason to head to King's Landing, especially as Cersei will set a fire and there'll be no trial by combat anyway.

How exactly did the Blackfish expect to hold on to the castle while all his soldiers were loyal to Edmure? Not being a book reader, it completely boggled my mind that they would simply lay down their arms. Weren't they ready to die in defense of the castle anyway? Is their lord's command all it takes to deliver themselves up to the Lannisters like lambs?
It was also unclear to me why Edmure had the upper hand over the Blackfish. Wasn't the Blackfish a more senior member of the family, and Riverrun his home? Why would all these hardened soldiers who had followed him succumb to the request of a prisoner likely to be acting at the behest of the Freys/Lannisters?
I have no problem with the whole "siege being resolved peacefully as part of Jamie's character arc" plot line, but not knowing the context it felt like a complete deus ex machina. Like, oh, all it took was a brief conversation changing Edmure's mind to flip the whole balance of power. I also see many posters talking about saving the Tullys from the death and destruction that would result from Jamie's assault on the castle. But isn't the whole framing of the stand-off that Jamie cannot take the castle by force? That he has to settle in for a long siege?

The thing that bothers me is that everything that happened with Arya last episode just came down to absolute garbage writing. All the character inconsistencies, and stupid choices like wandering around without needle off-guard was just because the writers completely fucked up. And on top of that they again fuck up and basically brush off the multiple stabbings this episode. Like she walked out of the House of Black and White completely okay, no limp, no blood, nothing.
