Making a location is really easy. The trick is to make it vivid and focus on what matters to the game. By keeping the details vague and writing down only what the players can discover everything comes together really fast. Nondescript goon stats can plug into any NPC should combat become necessary, no need to worry about it just yet.

You are Takashi Wakui, a sixteen year old Japanese high school student. In your world, half of humanity possesses a Persona—the corporeal manifestation of one’s personality as a supernatural entity. You had been an unlucky ordinary at first, lacking the potential to summon your Persona. Then the application AETHER was forcibly installed on your smartphone. It sucked you into the nightmarish realm of the Blackened Void, where you fought monsters and awakened your Persona in the process.
You are now the Wild Card of the 22nd Century. You possess the Fool Arcana, giving you the power to draw strength from bonds and wield multiple Personas at once. Already this places you in great danger, as the Fool Arcana is seen as an impossibility by the common masses. Revealing your newfound power to the common world would immediately land your head on a dissection table. My beef here is everything they're saying is something the reader can infer themselves.
It just doesn't sound like a natural conversation. They're either justifying things to each other for no real reason or just providing rote summaries of what's going on around them.
I like both of these characters but Rich isn't really using their personalities here.

Personally I think I'd do alright, not great, but alright.
I'll get dumped in the Clone Wars era, just because I don't want to get accidentally eaten by Nihilus in the Old Republic Era.
Have a personal history with martial arts so I know how I handle that kind of discipline. Knowing how I handled Tae Kwon Do and Judo, I'd probably get a bit sick of running drills and patterns and forms when I had to do them too long and be far more eager to get down to sparring. It makes for a good 'baby's first cursed item' for new-ish players. No actual mechanical impact that puts them at a disadvantage, and forces them out of their comfort zone for a while because it demands recognition and response from an RP perspective.
