We’re down to the final four at the Ally Pally, all of whom have at least one World title to their name, and all would argue that they deserve to add this year’s crown to their tally. Barney displayed more bottle than Simon Whitlock’s weekly shop in yet another victory in a final set decider, and having climbed back into the top 10 on the OoM, now only the substantial frame of Aidy Lewis stands between the Dutchman and another World Championship final. Snackpot dropped his first sets of the tournament in his QF against Peter Wright, but took advantage of some below-par finishing from the ‘Scot’ to wrap up a 5-2 victory. It seems remarkable that two of the most successful & exciting players in the game can be said to have been going quietly about their business, but with the madness unfolding around them, both Adrian Lewis & Gary Anderson have shown Wezzz how to properly go ‘under the radar’ in a World Championship. Gando meets Jelle Klaasen in his semi-final, and he will surely not underestimate the man who had him on the brink of elimination in last year’s Worlds. Klaasen is of course the rank outsider with the bookies, and can play his game without pressure, but a win here would make a strong case for him being invited back to the Premier League (on the condition he deactivates his Snapchat account). We’re starting an hour later than usual tonight, so tune in from 20:00GMT on SSD/SS1.

It's time for The Big One: the original and the best World Darts Championship returns for its 39th running from the home of darts: Lakeside.
Admittedly, calling the BDO's World Championship the best isn't strictly accurate, given most of their winners (and losers) in recent years have jumped ship to the PDC, but at least this year the reigning champion Scott Mitchell will actually be around to defend his title, unlike Stephen Bunting last year. In the women's draw, Lisa Ashton is aiming to make it three wins on the trot to become the first woman since Trina Gulliver to achieve this feat.
Coverage starts from 1:00pm on BBC One before switching to BBC Two at 4:30pm. The evening session starts at 6:30pm on BT Sport 2.
All men's matches are best of 5 sets in the preliminary and first rounds, while all women's matches are best of 3 sets until the final.
>Afternoon session (1:00pm - 6:00pm)
Jim Williams vs Tony O'Shea
Lisa Ashton vs Paula Jacklin
Craig Caldwell vs Alan Soutar (P)
Darryl Fitton vs Dennis Harbour
>Evening session (6:30pm - 11:00pm)
Larry Butler vs James Hurrell (P)
Anastasia Dobromyslova vs Anca Zijlstra
Matthew Medhurst vs Jeff Smith (P)
Glen Durrant vs Dean Reynolds
