Wasn't that impressed. It lacked the full-on rush of Grimes' latest efforts.

epic
They're great. The Jessy Lanza album was great too. Also Jeremy is a total qt bear.
What do other Kate Bush fans think about Lionheart? I genuinely don't get any of the hate. Like holy shit, if this is widely regarded as her weakest album by many... It's such an enjoyable album anyway. Picked up a cheap copy at a used record store a while ago not expecting much because of all the shit it gets from fans, and I was blown away. Coffee Homeground is also one of the most fun songs she's ever released imo. So yeah, can any KB fans please explain to me what's wrong with this? I don't mean this as "Lionheart is great. Prove to me I'm...

I don't think it's terrible. To me it just feels deficient. Her other albums are much more rich thematically and musically.
>>66048550
Probably have to understand the reaction if you listened to The Kick Inside first, then Lionheart. It's not bad, just not as good as KI.

convince me this guy isn't totally disingenuous / cynical trend-hopping attempt at capitalizing on whatever's "cool" at the time.
Test Icicles - bad dance punk ?
Lightspeed Champion - cringey twee indiefetish
Blood Orange - isn't NYC and jazz and normcore so cool now
im sorry im not tryna hate but IDGI
i saw his new band play, they tried to do Coltrane and it was just awful.
so whats the problem of having a number of different side projects and experimenting with music genres? a lot of vaporwave """musicians""" have a lot of different monikers that do the same fucking thing

I meant the music.
Hi anons, where could I find guitar sheet(not tabs) actual music sheet with notes of songs? What are the most popular websites where you go to learn to play a song ?
>>66048327
Learn to tab pleb
>>66048341
I know how to tab but real musicians know the notes not tabs and tabs dosen't give you alot of information like the duration of the notes, and so forth.
>>66048356
sit down, figure out the key to the song, find out which notes/chords you should play.
Opinions about this lineup? Who's good and who's bad?
It's not great, but it's a very cheap festival. Courtney Barnett, FJM, Tame Impala, Grimes, Pixies (obviously). Wolf Alice are alright, and if you like Arcade Fire they're good live.
I saw New Order at Bestival a few years ago and they were dreadful.
>>66048342
>very cheap
It doesn't look like a very cheap festival at all. Sure if you compare with Coachella or Glastonbury, it's pretty small. But let's be real, most festivals don't have so many great artists on their lineups.
>>66048384
Well, very cheap compared to festivals of that size and with bands like Arcade Fire and Pixies. Much cheaper than even smaller festivals here in the UK, like End of the Road.
ITT: God-Tier albums under 30 minutes
why do so many of you dislike this album?
>i-its not a swans record
>sounds too much like angels of light
yeah fair points, but as a record itself, why dislike it?
>>66048207
It's better than Soundtracks for the blind
In my opinion it's like an intro into the seer
one of my favorite swans actually. It sounds most like their early no wave stuff.
Best songs: Jim, Inside Madeline
>>66048207
It doesn't feel fully realized, that's why it bores me. It's like they were dipping their toes in the water so-to-speak in terms of experimenting with the new style of the band.
The opener is the only great song. Outside of that it's an alright record, nothing is all that bad on it, it just isn't very memorable.
Was he one of the factors that contributed to the suicide of Kurt Cobain?
meme
>>66048206
Weird Al is GOAT, If anything, Al prevented Cobain from commiting sooner
>>66048206
Cobain liked Weird Al a lot. So most likely no.
