What do other Kate Bush fans think about Lionheart? I genuinely don't get any of the hate. Like holy shit, if this is widely regarded as her weakest album by many... It's such an enjoyable album anyway. Picked up a cheap copy at a used record store a while ago not expecting much because of all the shit it gets from fans, and I was blown away. Coffee Homeground is also one of the most fun songs she's ever released imo. So yeah, can any KB fans please explain to me what's wrong with this? I don't mean this as "Lionheart is great. Prove to me I'm wrong. Protip: you can't : ^) ". Genuinely curious about why people dislike it. It's obviously nowhere near as brilliant as The Kick Inside, but I can't fathom why any KB fans would think of it as a bad album.

I don't think it's terrible. To me it just feels deficient. Her other albums are much more rich thematically and musically.
