Questions google hasn't been able to answer for me:
1) What happens if you listen to music scales (say C major) every day for a few hours.
2) Would a baby listening to scales train his hearing this way?
I'm inclined to say yes on #2, but have no experience / knowledge in this field.
I've been trying to improve my aural skills by using apps but it's going so slow.
any tips?

you only really need relative pitch if you are past the age of acquiring perfect pitch,
so just try and work out melodies by transcribing and listening to a tuning fork etc

I wanna hate it, but the melody and instrumentation give it this really sombre, almost sarcastic darkness which makes the song feel completely different.
Also the solo is the shit.
Rivers can do whatever the fuck he wants after White and EWBAITE and I won't even complain.
At least he finally earnt the right to pursue something different, and musically this song is very interesting. The swearing though, yikes
