Oh damn that's one of my favorite SP albums
I would look into any of the jungle and the two-step that Tom was likely pulling from at the time, but in terms of glitchiness and raw spastic energy, few things at the time (or afterwards) came close to Go! Plastic IMO. Still, worth a shot

The only thing that ever got close and some random 16 yo did it then disappeared.

I don't know why, but people give you so much shit for hanging out with your parents when you're my age (I'm 19). I just told a friend of mine I was going to hang out with my mom tomorrow morning and he started making fun of me.
She's given me a roof over my head, she's supported me in any personal decisions I've made or opinions formed, and she's done the best job she could to be the best parent she can be. Why is it such...

Quorthon/Bathory was the greatest.
Any fans on /mu/? Favorite album?
Bathory is the best black metal i've heard
granted i've not really listened to all that much black metal
but still they won't/can't be beaten
Under the Sign

Personally, most partial to his "viking metal" stuff. But his black metal was good, too.
Does "Destroyer of Worlds" count as black metal? One of my favorites.
Quorthon was a talentless hack and a meme whose only contribution to metal was introducing shitty kvlt kvlture.
/mu/ I know you're not the place to go for drug withdrawal advice but for 99% of the last two weeks I've been listening to this album, I'm addicted and I need more or I'll suffer withdrawals. give me something similar
i'll step thruuuuuuuuuu
this album looks like a capri sun in the catalog

How do y'all feel about Low? I've only recently started getting into them and I don't know what took so long. Lots of good stuff in my opinion.
I'm pretty familiar now with I Could Live In Hope, Long Division, The Curtain Hits The Cast, Secret Name, Things We Lost In The Fire, Trust, C'Mon, and Ones and Sixes.
Any glaring omissions? What are people's favorite Low albums and songs? I think I like Things We Lost In The Fire best, probably followed by Long Division.
im all for emotional selfpity music but Low are fucking boring as hell. they sound like a bunch of 40 year olds with nothing to offer the world except for cliches and mediocrity.
>>60655658
huh, I only got the emotional selfpity vibe from maybe 1/3 of the songs, and to whatever extent it sounds cliche I'd be interested to hear who you think did their "sound" first because I think they were pioneers in some sense

Words is fucking devastating
and I Could Live In Hope is a really great album

Looking for some underground music in nola!
Don't even bother looking, it's all garbage.
Clones at Play was pretty good but i think the only place it exists is one CD on sale on Amazon
Just listen to all the shit on Community Records and Grace King. Both labels are on Bandcamp, some pretty good stuff.
Why did they do this?
Why do they do anything and why do people listen to this middle of the road shit band?
