Obscure Swedish melodeath with a hint of black metal influence that I've rec'd a few times. Melodic and catchy, but also abrasive, it's a great mix of the Gothenburg and Oslo scenes.

A US power band from... Germany! Indeed, they are krauts but preform the style of American power metal much better than the likes of Iced Earth and Sanctuary. Mid-paced with AOR elements, but crushingly heavy, Brainstorm will appeal to Swanö fans.

A true gem and the only major release from this band. Having been influenced by the NWOBHM scene, Glacier fucking shreds, though are admittedly on the unoriginal side. Think Liege Lord with an Ozzy sound-alike.

A progressive metal band from Poland heavily influenced by Dream Theater and Riverside, but lacks a vocalist for the most part. It's extremely keyboard-heavy and relies upon atmosphere and samples to carry itself.
